NOOK 45

Designed as a compact yet highly intentional living solution, this 45’ High Cube container home redefines what is possible within a single-module footprint. The objective was a 360-square-foot, single-story home that could operate as a primary dwelling or design-forward retreat — compact in footprint yet expansive in experience. Efficiency was essential, but so was atmosphere. The client wanted clean lines, strong indoor–outdoor connectivity, and a material palette that balanced industrial authenticity with warmth.

The resulting 1-bedroom layout is organized along the container’s linear geometry to maximize clarity and flow. A private sleeping zone anchors one end, while a centrally positioned bathroom core optimizes plumbing efficiency. The opposite end opens into a streamlined kitchen and living area, proportioned to accommodate full-size appliances, integrated storage, and comfortable seating. High Cube ceiling height enhances spatial perception, while expansive sliding glass doors extend the interior onto a covered timber-framed deck — effectively enlarging the living footprint and reinforcing a seamless relationship with the outdoors.

NEW ORLEANS, USA

Elevated on piers for ventilation and site adaptability, the structure maintains the container’s structural integrity while introducing refined exterior detailing and a contemporary pergola element. This 45’ container home represents a disciplined architectural response to compact living — precise in planning, climate-conscious in execution, and intentionally crafted to deliver clarity, durability, and modern studio-level design within a highly efficient footprint.
